End-of-life PVC recycling increased by 20 per cent in 2009 its highest ever levels, despite the recession. In the first nine months of 2009, the PVC industrys recycling initiative, Recovinyl, has reported a 20 per cent increase on end of life material - such as PVC-U window and door frames against the same period in 2008.
