Veolia fined £130,000 after worker is killed

Veolia Environmental Services has been fined £130,000 after a worker was killed when a recycling bin fell on his head because of a faulty bin lift. David Ives from High Wycombe was collecting waste from outside a pub in Easington, near Aylesbury, when the incident happened on 5 May 2004.
