Comment on: Councils reject ‘bribe’ to ditch AWC
I am pleased to see that local councils have not been fooled by what I consider an ill-conceived bribe. It would be nice if Eric Pickles actually considered the requirements of all taxpayers before pushing his "one size fits all" approach to rubbish collections. Hopefully his embarrassment and desire to save face will push him to support what councils are looking to spend the extra money on - sensible and specific recycling solutions.
