£2m investment in fleet

Hampshire-based L&S Waste Management has invested £2m to add 12 vehicles to its fleet, incorporating the latest Euro 6 engines.

The fleet includes five tipper trucks, two sweeper trucks, two skip lorries, one roll-on roll-off vehicle, a CAT 360 excavator and a CAT 930 wheel loader.

Managing director Mick Balch said: “Following a period of sustained growth, this is a necessary investment to ensure that we not only keep apace with market demand, but also operate the most efficient fleet possible.”
