Accreditation for plastics

Plastics recycler Jayplas has been awarded A-Grade British Retail Consortium certification, the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded, for packaging materials at its newest manufacturing plant in Worksop.

The accreditation is a key component of the company’s strategic plan to deliver high-quality recycled plastic products to customers, in particular in the retail industry, through the reprocessing of their own waste material.

John Haddow, group compliance manager at Jayplas said: “Our new facility offers our customers a UK-based recycler that can produce plastic packaging products to replace virgin products.

“It offers a viable, commercial, closed-loop system producing quality products with excellent environmental credentials and a supply chain with full traceability.”
