APC goes through city

Last month Lodge Cottrell delivered an air pollution control (APC) system for the Glasgow Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre, a partnership between Glasgow City Council and Viridor, which involved transporting what it said was “the largest structure ever to have been moved within the city of Glasgow”.

This movement took place overnight, and involved the temporary removal and replacement of significant amounts of street furniture to accommodate the passage of this oversized load.

Lodge Cottrell, a supplier of APC systems to large-scale industrial facilities, has recently become involved in the energy-from-waste sector where it provides gas treatment systems.
