Baled tyres means lower transport costs

North Yorkshire-based Easi Recycling has upgraded its baler range to include the higher output W8500H.

Able to process 400-500 tyres an hour, with an 85-tonne pressing force and increased support pressing plate, the machine has been specifically designed and manufactured for recyclers of vehicle tyres.

Features include a dual-bale size select switch, producing PAS 108 specification tyre bales. This resolves problems of space limitations and rising transportation costs.

The compacted bales permit double stacking height, meaning that more than double the quantity of tyres can be transported in a 40ft container.

Jon Earnshaw, managing director of Easi Recycling, said: “We have seen the market for recycled tyre balers grow in the past few years. Listening to customer feedback and market indicators, we have sourced the W8500H to ensure we can offer our customers the machinery that will give them the most cost-effective solution for their recycling needs.”
