B&M Waste Services has unveiled the Waste Station, designed to improve the efficiency and cost of food waste recycling.
It is aimed at commercial or public catering facilities.
B&M claims that use of the facility can reduce food waste by up to 80%. Its technology allows food to be reused in processes such as composting, anaerobic digestion or the creation of pellets for biofuel.
It can also cut transport costs due to fewer collections and reduce waste storage costs.
