Taylor, the manufacturer of four-wheeled galvanised steel containers, has partnered with Wincanton in a move to boost its growth strategy and as part of a commitment to providing responsive and comprehensive fleet management throughout the UK.
Wincanton will now be responsible for managing Taylor’s domestic transport through its fleet of 3,600 vehicles.
The deal will allow Taylor to scale its manufacturing business at the same time as tapping into Wincanton’s established UK logistics network. This will give Taylor greater geographical reach, improved flexibility for its customers and speedier distribution times.
Brendan Murphy, chief executive of Taylor, said: “Our partnership with Wincanton will enable us to remain competitive, strengthen our position throughout the UK and allow us to reallocate resources to areas of the business where we can add value.”
