Description: A 15-year contract for receiving, segregating, handling and managing waste delivered to household waste recycling sites for Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth. Includes managing, operating and maintaining the household waste recycling centre.

Contract: Kent County Council: polythene waste and refuse sacks and bags.

Description: Framework agreement for the supply and delivery of refuse sacks to Hertfordshire County Council, Hampshire County Council, Kent County Council and Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation. Other public bodies may access the agreement but only with the agreement of the contracting authority.

Contract: South Lanarkshire Council: recycling of gully waste and general road construction materials.

Description: Contract for the acceptance and subsequent recycling of gully waste and road construction materials produced from the council’s roads and transportation services. Includes provision of an uplift service, transporting waste road construction materials from council depots to the recycling facility. The waste is composed of vegetation, timber, plastic, rock, crushed rock, blaes, concrete, metal, soil, subsoil and other excavated materials.

Contract: Braintree District Council: software package and information systems.

Description: A 10-year contract for an industry specific software package. The council is looking to purchase an “In-cab” technology solution for its waste and recycling vehicles, which includes integrated commercial and domestic residual collections; integrated commercial and domestic recycling collections; domestic food waste collections; domestic green waste collections. The solution will provide an effective means of communication between back office, customer service function and front line vehicles for waste service efficiency.

Contract: Council of the Isles of Scilly: waste management consultancy services.

Description: A two-year contract to develop a waste management strategy. Includes conclusion and delivery of the landfill closure, recovery plans and treatment permits for a waste management facility at Moorwell. Also involves giving advice on waste diversion and reduction opportunities across the island of St Mary’s and other off-islands.

Contract: Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC: waste treatment plant construction work.

Description: A 15-year contract for the design, build, finance and operation of a food waste treatment facility. Main treatment involves kitchen municipal waste. Includes treatmeat by anaerobic digestion of food waste generated by householders in the areas of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Newport City as well as building and maintaining the treatment facility.
