Contract: East Ayrshire Council: refuse and waste related services
The provider for both lots will supply fully licensed processing facilities for the acceptance, processing, and disposal but not collection of residual (unsorted) waste. Both lots cover a period of five years (commencing on 1 May 2013) with the option of two-year extensions.
The indicative tonnage requiring treatment/disposal is approximately 30,000 to 35,000 tonnes. Tonnages may fluctuate. Providers can bid for one or both lots.
Lot 1: Treatment or disposal of residual (unsorted) waste - East Ayrshire
Lot 2: Treatment or disposal of residual (unsorted) waste - South Ayrshire
East and South Ayrshire councils each guarantee 20,000 tonnes per annum, however at the start of the contract approximately 30 000 to 35 000 tonnes requires treatment or disposal.
Contract: East Renfrewshire Council: processing of co-mingled organic green and organic food waste
Description: To receive an estimated annual weight of 10,500 tonnes of co-mingled organic garden waste and organic food waste from the council’s kerbside collection and organically treat the material to achieve optimum recycling to meet PAS100 or PAS110 standards

Contract: United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust: clinical waste collection services
Description: Provision of clinical waste services to United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust and Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.
- Lot 1 United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust estimated annual weight of waste 1, 200 tonnes
- Lot 2 Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust estimated annual weight of waste 1,100 tonnes
- Lot 3 Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust estimated annual weight 60 tonnes
There is an option to extend the contract in 12 monthly intervals to a maximum of seven years

Contract: Halton Borough Council: waste-tip management services
Description: The treatment and diversion from landfill of up to 35,000 tonnes per year of collected residual municipal solid waste collected for Halton Borough Council. The contract runs from December 2012 to around 2015 when another contract, currently being procured, for diversion of municipal solid waste from landfill begins. There are options to extend this contract for a maximum of two years until the new contract starts.
