Grantham-based Red Rhino (UK) has launched the 7000 Plus mini-crusher, building on the success achieved with the 7000 Series.
Additional features of the latest model include a combined feed hopper and vibrating grizzly feeder plus a new control system. The grizzly is designed to remove fines before presenting the oversize to the jaw crusher.
This features a hydraulic motor bolted to the vibrating unit which is integrated into the feeder frame. The speed can be regulated by the operator to suit different material and crusher settings.
Removal of the fines prior to the crusher increases plant output and life of the jaw plates while reducing fuel consumption.
The 7000 Plus weighs 10 tonnes, is 2.2m wide and 2.8m high so it can easily be towed to site.
