Crushing system cuts volumes by 90%

Unisan showed its CaféCrush waste collection system, which it claims reduces volume by up to 90% to save time and labour in bin emptying, as well as associated handling and transport.

The CaféCrush Tower, the same height as most vending machines, crushes cans and bottles and shreds cups of various sizes. It includes an integrated sanitation system to keep the machine hygienic.

The CaféCrush Large offers a larger volume capacity. It has an optional incentive ticket printer to encourage staff to   recycle. The machines can be branded with bespoke graphics and recycling messages.

Unisan was also promoting its Clean Trax ProfilGate system, an effective brush system for cleaning tyres and the soles of footwear, as well as helping to reduce the risk of slippery floors and reduce the amount of dirt travelling into facilities.

It is designed to withstand hundreds of movements per hour, and cleans kilograms of dirt and reduces moisture from wheels.
