Essex waste management and skip hire firm Benfleet Waste has extended its fleet of machines with a Hyundai HL940 wheel loader (pictured) and a R125LCR-9A crawler for use at its depots.

The HL940 has an operating weight of 13.1 tonnes and is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 Tier 4-compliant diesel engine, which delivers a maximum torque of 86kg.m/1,200rpm.

With a heaped bucket capacity of 2.3cu m and a bucket breakout force of 11.25 tonnes, its maximum straight tipping load is 10 tonnes and the maximum dumping clearance is 2.78m.

The loader is 10% more fuel-efficient than its predecessor, helping to maximise productivity and demonstrating higher value in tough environments.

The Hyundai machines offer operators a comfortable cabin space, with low vibration and noise, delivering just 64dB to the interior.
