JCB will launch a comprehensive range of site dumpers ranging in size from one to 10 tonnes in the UK this month.
The line-up will be based around four popular weight classes.
High-tip, forward tip (pictured) and swivel skip models will be offered, catering for rental market and contracting requirements in a wide variety of applications. Engine outputs range from 20 to 120hp (15.5-90kW), and synchro-shuttle or hydrostatic transmissions are available to deliver ease of use and maximum travel speeds.
The dumpers’ skips are made with thick steel side walls and heavy-duty steel front and base plates for increased reliability and longevity.
The machines have been designed for ease of operation with a clear dashboard and automotive-style controls. They also feature best-in-class ground-level service access, with engine panels mounted on heavy-duty hinges.
JCB Power Systems has signed a deal worth £4.5m a year to supply Terex GB with the JCB Ecomax diesel engine, rated at 74hp (55kW), for use in its six-tonne dumper models.
