LeanPath brings together hardware (bench scales, cameras, tablets, floor scales and displays) with customised software. This enables businesses to track all food waste transactions.
Each transaction is weighed and data such as food type, waste reason, pan size and disposition code is captured in seconds through a customised user-interface. Its bench scale product marries this data with a digital picture of the wasted food, and all details are electronically stored in a cloud-based database.
The data feeds an analytics platform, enabling clients to analyse the drivers of their food waste. An integrated dashboard provides graphics and reporting features, including waste overview summaries, participation reports, trend reports and talking points for staff meetings. Alerts, goal setting, and reward features supplement the process.
