Magnapower’s stand featured its ECS600 eddy current separator (ECS) with a very high separation capability.
The ECS on display showed how it was able to sort non-ferrous metals from plastics with high purity and efficiency.
According to the manufacturer, the machine is proving to be extremely efficient at recovery of non-ferrous metals from all recycling streams such as automobile shredder residue, C&D material and MSW.
Rob Jones, Magnapower managing director, said: “It is an excellent example of how innovation can help to reduce running costs. Our ECS machines not only effectively and efficiently sort the shredded material, but these increased efficiencies can lead to significantly higher returns.”
