Hammer mill separates out foreign parts automatically

HAAS will focus on the latest innovations on its hammer mill with vertical infeed, which has enhanced the technique for shredding biomass, waste wood, RDF and PVC materials.

The company has developed a ballistic chute, where foreign parts are separated automatically. In the past, such parts had to be removed manually, which was extremely time-consuming; downtime and wear are reduced significantly.

There is also an easy screen change system which makes it possible to open the hammer mill hydraulically and change the screen basket within 30 minutes.

Both systems have been in operation with clients, such as RTD Crawford, working efficiently for several hundred operating hours.

HAAS will be on stand 5Y158-Z159
