High engine power and efficiency

Q: What is your product?

The new generation DL200-3 Stage IIIB wheel loader from Doosan.

Q: How does it work?

With a bucket capacity of 2cu m, the DL200-3 is intended to meet a wide range of waste and materials handling needs in the recycling market.

Q: Where would it ideally be used?

The DL200-3 is ideal for loading and handling at MRFs, for operations on construction and demolition projects, and for the production of primary, secondary and recycled aggregates, clays and soils.

Q: How is it different?

The DL200-3 wheel loader combines high engine power with a number of new features to minimise fuel consumption and optimise output and performance.

Q: What are the benefits?

New kinematics and a larger cylinder on the lift arm have allowed an increase in the main pressure in the front hydraulic system, with a corresponding increase in breakout and lifting forces.

As an option, customers can choose ZF axles with a hydraulic differential lock, offering less rolling resistance than the standard limited slip system.

Q: Cost?

Retail pricing is at the discretion of Doosan dealers, covering the whole of the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Q Any savings?

The ECO bar on the control panel provides information about fuel consumption in relation to machine performance in real time, allowing the operator to select the driving mode for the best fuel efficiency. ‘Auto idle’ can reduce fuel consumption by a further 8%.

Q: What about maintenance?

A larger opening angle for the side door makes it easier to service the machine. Swingout side doors provide easy access to the rear for cleaning the new one-block radiator.

Increased space in the engine compartment ensures that components are within easy reach for service work.

Q: What is its life span?

The lift arm has been strengthened for increased durability, with thicker metal in the tilt lever. New ZF limited slip Type II differential axles also provide more durability and a longer lifetime. The SKF Vogel auto lubrication system, which increases lifetime and productivity, is an option.

Q: Anything else?

The DL200-3 wheel loader features a new comfort cab offering more space, better visibility and increased foot room for the driver. The air conditioning system is regulated automatically by a temperature sensor.

A new instrument panel has an integrated vehicle control unit.
