AD project guidance published

Guidance and funding information for developers of anaerobic digestion (AD) projects has been published by the Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association (ADBA).

A Due Diligence template, created with WRAP, will give developers of AD projects a checklist to ensure they have provided the necessary information for investors to carry out due diligence on schemes. The template shows what investors would expect to see in a business plan, and where they can find the necessary information.

ADBA has also published a comprehensive list of available sources of funding for AD projects.

The two documents, available on the ADBA website, are part of the 11 measures outlined in Defra’s AD Strategy and Action Plan.

ADBA chief executive Charlotte Morton said: “Delivering these documents is part of the wider work ADBA is doing to develop the AD industry, both within and outside the actions agreed in the Action Plan.”
