AWM licence extension

Waste management solutions provider AWM Group can now treat waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) thanks to a new license issued by its local Environment Agency office.

The company said the extension of its waste management licence meant a great deal to it, especially following its award of a six-month contract with Warwickshire County Council which involves the collection and recycling of cathode ray tubes from nine amenity sites.

AWM is also able to accept oil filters plus packaging, absorbents and filter material concentrated with hazardous components.
