Biffa raided

If someone tries to sell you three waste recycling trucks, just say no.

Biffa Waste Services has had three vehicles stolen from its Bridlington depot.

Thieves broke through a perimeter fence and into the office, where they cracked a safe and stole keys to the trucks, along with bridge passes.

A Biffa spokesman said: "Our security guards disturbed them and stopped them getting away with any more."

The vehicles were two 18-tonne skip wagons and one 7.5 tonne skip truck, all with white cabs and the Biffa logo.

The registration numbers were S328 KNK, YX51 VYK and YX51 GYY.The Bridlington depot has drafted in trucks from other fleets and none of Biffa's services have been affected.
