Bywaters new site receives environmental certification

Bywaters has announced that it has achieved ISO 14001: 2004 certification at its new site at Lea Riverside.

It expanded its operations to new 9.2 acre premises in Bow in the summer of 2006, and plans to install the state-of-the-art Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) at the premises later this year.

Bywaters said the new MRF would be the largest indoor recycling facility in the UK, allowing the company to maximise the volume of materials it recovers and recycles.

The Bow site includes the companys office headquarters, vehicle maintenance workshop and hazardous waste brokering operation.
