Changing Rooms designer to sell recycled products

Award-winning designer and Changing Rooms presenter Oliver Heath and business partner Nikki Blustin will launch an online design store of eco-friendly products next week.

EcoCentric will offer shoppers a range of environmentally-friendly products selected by Heath and Blustin that are crafted from recycled or sustainable materials, or that use low levels of energy.

A mixture of home and lifestyle goods including lighting, soft furnishings, home accessories, toys, gifts and stationary will be available.

The designers hope EcoCentric will bring together contemporary design and environmental awareness, and make environmentally friendly products available to a wider audience.

Heath said: “Without a doubt, EcoCentric will offer the most exciting range of eco-products in the whole country: a totally unique collection. We hope to encourage people’s growing environmental awareness and show that you don’t have to sacrifice your sense of style in order to be green.”
