Contract: Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation: Supply of litter bins and street furniture

Description:  A four-year framework agreement for the supply of litter bins and street furniture. The framework is designed to meet the needs and to be utilised by all public sector organisations. It also provides installation, maintenance and refurbishment service to departments within local authorities and other government organisations which manage outdoor areas, parks, parklands, car parks, street, cycle and path ways. Divided into three lots.

Description: The two-tier administration coupled with the size of the county necessitates the provision of a network of waste transfer stations to receive and bulk-up waste streams and for cost effective arrangements in place for sorting and processing of waste. Divided into five lots.

Contract: South Ayrshire Council: Provision of a Community Recycling Centre to South Ayrshire Council

Description: The council sought a suitable experienced and qualified service provider to provide a Community Recycling Centre suitably located for the residents of Ayr, Prestwick and its immediate surrounding areas to be able to dispose of and recycle household waste.

Contract: Plymouth City Council: Collection, transportation, processing and treatment of municipal green waste.

Description: The contract involves the collection, transportation, processing and treatment of approximately 10,000 tonnes per annum of source segregated municipal green waste. The supplier will compost the green waste to the British Standard Institution Publicly Available Standard (BSI PAS) 100:11 and compliance with (or working towards) the Compost Quality Protocol.

Contract: Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust: General municipal and waste management services.

Description: A three-year contract expandable by one year for the provision of a general municipal and recycling waste management solution. On the expiry of other existing waste services, there may be the potential for the provider to expand service elements to other waste streams produced by the Trust.
