CSG acquires Lloyds

The UKs largest privately owned waste management company has acquired the South East based Lloyds Environmental (LE).

Cleansing Service Group (CSG) is based in Southampton and operates from 14 locations throughout the country, providing a full range of environmental solutions for domestic sewage, marine waste, tank cleaning, bio-recycling, dry and liquid waste management.

Following the takeover, Lloyds will operate under the title of CSG LE and will benefit from the management expertise, infrastructure and support services of a national operation, offering customers a wider and even more responsive and comprehensive service.

The integration of LE also provides a platform for CSG to offer additional services in emergency spill response and cleansing on a nationwide basis.

CSG chairman Ken Pee said: The acquisition will enhance the activities of LE by providing additional service locations throughout the existing operating area and by assisting with new and additional specialised equipment. Both companies pride themselves as being environmental solution providers.

In turn, CSG will greatly benefit from the expertise of LE. This is a really positive step forward for both companies.
