CSG reports bright trading figures

Cleansing Service Group has announced record turnover figures and increased profits despite the recession.

The company, which has its headquarters in Fareham, Hampshire, provides waste management services ranging from metals recovery to domestic sewage collection, including the UK’s largest hazardous waste treatment centre at Cadishead, Manchester

The company said its latest trading figures show that turnover increased over the past year to a record £54.1m. It posted an increased annual profit of £2.87m, which prompted bonus payments to its 370 employees.

CSG managing director Neil Richards said: “This has been another successful year for our company despite tough trading conditions and strong competition. It’s been achieved through the excellent performance of our staff at all levels throughout the business.

“We see no reason why we shouldn’t now go on to a profitable and successful 2012.”
