Debut for tyre technology

A company exhibiting at RWM for the first time is bringing a machine that shreds tyres into 20mm chips for recycling.

Tyre Shredders UK (TSUK), formed in 2002, will be displaying the TS100 on its stand in Birmingham next week.

Sales manager Andy Day said: One of TSUKs main benefits is that we are in the unique position of being the only company offering a single-pass machine to the industry for shredding down to 20mm wire-free chip.

The TS100 is also a larger and more robust machine that is easier to maintain and quicker regarding blade changes. It also has four independent motors as opposed to two on the TS50 option.
