Eco Plastics' Short named 'industry champion'

Regular MRW contributor Jonathan Short has been named one of the top 30 “industry champions”.

The Eco Plastics managing director was among 23 new Make it in Great Britain champions named at the Government’s National Manufacturing Summit.

The “Champions” are leaders from variety of sectors who have signed up support the Make it in Great Britain campaign to promote British manufacturing.

Short said: “I am delighted to champion the Make it in Great Britain campaign and feel it is important that the recycling industry is represented. We don’t just make quality, innovative products in Britain, we re-make them once they reach the end of their life.

“As a nation, we face a significant opportunity to continue developing a modern recycling infrastructure that sits at the heart of a ‘green economy’ and is the envy of the world.”
