Enterprise recommended for Peterborough collection contract

Enterprise Managed Services has been named as preferred bidder for Peterborough City Council’s household waste and recycling collection contract.

The decision to recommend Enterprise for the contract, which will collect 100,000 tonnes of waste in the region, was made over that of rival bidder Amey.

Council deputy leader Matthew Lee said: “I’m pleased to have two such strong contenders in the final stage of this process and will consider the recommendation carefully before making my decision.”

The final bidder will be announced on 18 January.
