Family firm brings international balers to UK

A family-owned machinary merchant in London has acquired the rights to sell items for a major US baler manufacturer.

Freedmans, which currently sells used baling equipment from its east London factory, will be licensed to sell new machines manufactured by International Baling Corporation of Jacksonville, Florida.

IBC has been making recycling equipment for more than 60 years, including paper, metal and textile balers, with over 20,000 units shipped worldwide.

Robert Freedman, managing director of Freedmans, said: “We have been selling used recycling machinery for the last 30 years from our London Factory, and have decided to add another bow to our string and sell new balers.

“We are very pleased to announce that we have acquired the agency for IBC.”
