Feature: UK clings to hope of boom during 2005

It's almost halfway through the year, and the UK recovered paper sector is still clinging to the hope that 2005 will follow a recent tradition and produce boom conditions. Over recent decades, the market has soared during years ending with a five: in 1995, the biggest boom year to date, the startling upturn was sparked by freezing conditions which prevented fibre from coming out of the US Midwest, but no such trigger has emerged so far this year.
