Henley welcomes Envac technology at UKTI panel debate

Envac UK ’s Surrey Canal project has been commended by environment minister Lord Henley during a national panel debate at the UK Trade & Investment’s Nordic/Baltic Business Conference.

Envac UK managing director Julian Gaylor appeared at a panel discussion with Lord Henley, which sought to explore synergies between the UK and Nordic and Baltic countries.

Gaylor said: “Lord Henley said he found it astounding that Envac hadn’t been installed more often and that it’s taken so long to get here. We had members of the audience from Scandinavian countries who found it amusing that the UK saw Envac as new in its inception.”

Envac was launched in the UK in 2007, after being established in Sweden.

Gaylor said: “Envac is one of many companies to demonstrate an innovative approach to technology. The continued support of the Government will play a huge role in driving this relatively new sector forward.”
