Since 2005, Hippowaste has provided waste disposal solutions for bathroom manufacturer Dolphin, but under a new agreement it will additionally manage the disposal of unwanted kitchen suites from Moben and Kitchens Direct customers.
HomeForm head of installations Robert Day said: For the first time we are truly managing our waste and, as a result, have seen an improvement in efficiency and in our environmental credentials.
The waste management firm will provide 15,000 alternative skip bags to the HomeForm Group across the UK. The idea is that when the waste bathroom or kitchen suites are removed, they will be directly placed into the hippobags, making the process more efficient and tidier for the customer.
Hippowaste sales and marketing director Lisa Barber said: The amount of waste that installation jobs generate wouldnt usually fill a skip, so a hippobag makes much more practical and economic sense and gives the customer more control over their waste management.
