Householders to get tax cuts if they set up recycling schemes under Lord Goldsmith's plans

Householders could see their council tax bills cut in return for setting up community recycling schemes, said the former Attorney General Lord Goldsmith.In his report entitled Citizenship: Our Common Bond Gordon Browns key advisor said that people could be given a partial tax rebate of their council tax for organising recycling schemes.The ideas were set out by Lord Goldsmith, in a wide ranging review of British nationality and citizenship.
