HW Martin Waste secures contract

HW Martin Waste has been chosen to operate Northamptonshire County Councils largest recycling transfer facility.

The site in Northampton is licensed to accept 300,000 tonnes of household and industrial waste per annum plus a further 2,000 tonnes of hazardous waste including clinical, asbestos and other categories.

In securing the contract, HW Martin Waste has consolidated its position as a respected provider of waste management services for local authorities and builds on the successful contracts it operates for 10 of Northamptonshires waste recycling centres.

The companys operations director Mark Faulconbridge said: We are delighted with this latest contract award that builds on HW Martin Wastes reputation for providing cost effective solutions to local authorities.

We are committed to investing in the plant and infrastructure of the facility to provide additional recycling and disposal options.

The company provides facilities for several local authorities and has a network of 29 household waste recycling centres and three transfer stations which are serviced by a fleet of 38 roll on-off and ejector vehicles delivering recyclables and waste to processors.
