Incineration firms in takeover

Waste Spectrum Environmental Limited has bought incinerator manufacturer William White for an undisclosed sum.

The deal includes the brand and assets for the Blythe range of animal by-product incinerators.

William White founded the business in 1998 and has decided to retire.

Waste Spectrum Environmental managing director Neil Rossiter said: “We are delighted to have acquired the business and to add the Blythe range of incinerators to our already successful global range of incinerator systems.”

The Worcester-based firm designs, engineers, manufacture and installs incinerators for animal carcass, municipal and medical waste and the Volkan HX heat-exchanger, which recovers incinerator waste heat as hot water.
