London Sustainability Weeks (LSW) has received a boost with enough material to create 120,000 event guides and 250,000 flyers donated to the cause.
Leading office paper manufacturer M-real will help promote sustainable living in the city with its environmentally friendly EVOLVE brand that is made from 100% recycled paper.
M-real UK brand manager for office papers Paul O’Shaughnessy said: “Last year, there were over 450 local LSW events which shows that Londoners do want to make a difference to their environment.
Londoners can find out more about LSW’s programme of local events with the EVOLVE printed guides and flyers available in the Evening Standard and London tube stations and events taking place in the first two weeks of June.
LSW 2006 organiser Christopher Harris said: “We were delighted when M-real offered to supply EVOLVE to help us publicise LSW 2006. Printing our event guides on 100% recycled paper that is made close to London thus reducing fuel use and is made from 100% UK recovered paper really helps us to show Londoners how easy it is to close the recycling loop.
“This year is set to be a real success thanks to lots of hard work from supporters and donations from major sponsors like M-real.”
