Man charged over MRF body murder

A 34 year old man has been charged with the murder of Nathan Lyons whose body was found earlier last week at Viridors materials recycling facility in Crayford, Kent.

The body of Nathan Lyons, 17, from Birmingham, was found in a load of commingled delivered to the Viridor site.

Officers said the lorry had travelled about 100 miles from the Crossgates depot in Redditch, Worcestershire.

A Viridor spokesman told MRW that services at the site had resumed as normal.
The man charged with murder is due to appear before Redditch Magistrates Court today (May 19).
