Markets - Weekly Prices Update 16 January 2015

MRW’s regular reporting of movements in the markets for secondary materials

Summary

PRN prices are stable this week.

The prices of high value metals have risen, with the exception of palladium.

Copper prices reached a five year low on Wednesday due to the decline in the oil price and fewer purchases by metal buyers, which is an indication of global oversupply. As a result, secondary copper prices are down from £10-£30 per tonne.

Ferrous prices are stable.
