Materials processor says safety procedures "ignored" after accident

A metals processor has claimed that an accident at one of its yards was partly due to safety procedures being ignored by the workforce. All Metals Recycling (AMS) was fined £12,500 by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) after Derek Baxters right leg was run over by a forklift truck as he knelt at the end of an aisle.
