Nominees for the National Recycling Awards revealed

The shortlist for the National Recycling Awards 2014 has been announced.

A record number of entries were received for sector’s most prestigious awards event, first held in 1999.

Judging in the 16 categories will be taking place in the coming weeks ahead of the event at the Hilton on Park Lane, London, on 3 July.

Robin Latchem

MRW editor Robin Latchem, left, said: “The range and scale of the different entries has been terrific and it is humbling to be associated with such amazing examples of best practice in the recycling, resource and waste management sector.

“It’ll be a tough call to come up with the winners but our judges know the industry inside out and have already done a great job getting down to the shortlist.”
