The Waste & Resources Action Programme has launched a new guide to funding for waste processing activities, such as composting and anaerobic digestion.
The guide lists potential sources of funding from a range of organisations covering areas such as environmental improvements, business development, and research, as well as detailing other grant aid schemes which may be of interest.
This is the first time that WRAP has published a funding guide for food waste processing, which has been produced in response to the growing number of requests for advice and support.
WRAP organic programme project officer Claire Kneller said: Interest in organics recycling is at an all time high and we receive a number of enquiries from organisations looking to enter the market or expand their existing activities.
This guide provides people with a quick simple method of identifying funding opportunities as well as putting them in touch with other useful organisations and resources.
