WRAP Cymru, the Welsh arm of WRAP, has appointed Carl Nichols as its new head, replacing Beth Winkley who left on 31 March.
Nichols, left, has worked for WRAP since 2004, most recently as head of business and markets. He has previously worked for Royal Mail, the RAC and Severn Trent Water.
He will be responsible for overseeing and developing WRAP’s programme of work in Wales and managing its relationship with the Welsh Government.
He said: “WRAP Cymru has gone from strength to strength in recent years, and it’s a privilege to have the opportunity to contribute to its continued success.
“I know that businesses of all sizes and from a range of sectors can benefit from preventing waste, recycling more or using recycled materials in their products.
“There are some fantastic Welsh success stories out there, and I’m eager to work with others to help create even more.”
