New member sought for packaging advisory committee

A new member is being sought for the body which advises the government on packaging and related waste matters.

The Advisory Committee on Packaging (ACP) is looking for someone to represent packaging raw material manufacturers, to replace former Rexam Glass managing director Chris Scholey.

The committee is designed to give a balanced representation of the four main industry sectors in the packaging chain – packaging raw material manufacturers, converters, packer/fillers and sellers, and the main packaging materials.

Applications need to completed by June 9. For more information see www.defra.gov.uk/corporate/appointments/index.htm
