New WEEE website

A new website has been released by the association of collective Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) take-back systems in Europe, the WEEE Forum.

The website focuses on the needs and requirements of individual producers and importers, as well as collective WEEE take-back systems. It contains detailed information on how to comply with WEEE legislation in a number of EU Member States through a collective WEEE take-back system, and provides a detailed guidance document on compliance procedures and legal requirements for companies producing or importing electrical or electronic equipment into the EU.

The WEEE Forum is an open not-for-profit association of voluntary, industry-driven collective WEEE take-back systems, taking care of individual producers' responsibilities in Europe.
