Newspaper and magazine consumption lead market up

UK recovered paper consumption increased to 389,300 tonnes in July 2004 a clear 7.8% ahead of the 361,018 tonnes registered in the same month last year. Unsurprisingly in the light of recent trends, Class III newspapers and magazines led the charge by posting a 26.6% increase in consumption to 128,279 tonnes.
