Nokia reveals second recycled phone

Nokia bosses have revealed a green concept phone which uses recycled steel and bio-materials, at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona. The metal casing and keypad are made from recycled steel, while internal materials are being developed from organics, such as polylactic acid plastics.

Earlier this year, Nokia announced another green phone, the Nokia 3110 Evolve, which uses plant bio-material and more than 50% renewable materials to reduce the manufacturing use of fossil fuels. The 3110 Evolve is expected to be available in the UK early this year.
