Nominate for a Lifetime Achievement Award

Do you know someone who has dedicated years of service to the recycling and waste management industry and deserves to be recognised for their achievement?

Then why not nominate them for a Lifetime Achievement Award.

This category created a massive buzz at the National Recycling Awards last year, and it is hoped that the same will happen when the winners are announced at the most glamorous and exciting event in the industry – the National Recycling Awards 2006 - in the Bournemouth International Centre on November 15.

Last year’s winners were Melvyn Lilley from Wolverhampton City Council, Garth Ward from the Salvation Army Trading Company and Robert Williams from the Welsh Assembly.

The winners are nominated by readers of MRW and www.mrw.co.uk and then a vote takes place by readers, with only one vote per person, to ensure the winners are recognised by their peers rather than a judging panel.

Voting will begin this year on September 11 and winners will be inducted into the National Recycling Hall of Fame (www.mrw.co.uk/fame.asp).
