Oldham-based company re-launches

An Oldham-based manufacturer of shredding machinery has announced plans to re-launch the business.

WSDE has not only been renamed Shredding & Recycling but has acquired a new corporate identity.

The company, which was founded in 2001offers equipment such as shredders, balers, compactors, conveyors and extraction systems for waste streams such as paper, card and plastic.

It also offers specialist applications for tyre recycling, fridge recycling, nuclear and clinical waste processing, aerosol destruction and waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Shredding & Recycling director David Pharaoh said: Our new name and image is definitive of the waste management solutions that the company provides. In an age of environmental awareness and responsibility, our products provide a more energy efficient and cost effective disposal mechanism for waste.

WSDE had initially been founded in 2001 by Pharaoh and Don Reeves with the two combining to offer solutions through their knowledge of the design and sale of shredding machines and power transmissions.
